Another day, another concert – this time it was Connor Price in Zurich at X-Tra. For those who might not know him yet, Connor is a Canadian actor turned rapper and singer who’s been making major waves online with his clever lyrics, impressive flow, and fun collaborative “Spin the Globe” project.

I actually discovered him by accident just a few weeks ago and was super happy to see that he’d be performing in Switzerland so soon. X-TRA wasn’t completely sold out, but there was still a decent crowd there. Definitely enough to fill the room with good energy. What I didn’t expect, though, was the number of really young kids in the audience! I knew his fanbase leaned towards the younger side, but this young definitely surprised me.

Before Connor hit the stage, his buddy Graham came out to perform a few songs to warm up the crowd. And I’d say, it worked out quite well. There were already a bunch of people singing along to Graham’s song.

The energy started building quickly, and I loved seeing all those kids having such a blast. Around 9ish, Connor Price took the stage and immediately brought all the energy. There wasn’t any fancy stage setup on stage. Just a DJ table, some visuals in the background, and Connor’s unstoppable presence. And honestly, that was all he needed. His charisma and interaction with the audience carried the entire show. And the audience ate it all up. The energy in the room was super nice… Loved seeing everyone in awe and just enjoying themselves. There were even a couple of boys in the front row who could barely see over the barrier, but that didn’t stop them from going all in. They were rapping along like they’d been training for this moment their whole lives.

Interactive Fun, Family Vibes, and a “Smoke”-Filled Highlight

One of my favorite things about the night was how interactive the show was. Fans got to choose between two songs, and of course, Connor brought his signature “Spin the Globe” concept to life on stage. The crowd chanted to make a virtual globe spin, landing on a “random” country (we’ll pretend it’s totally random 😄), and he performed the track connected to that spot.

He also received fun little gifts from fans. Shoutout to whoever came up with the Cheez-It socks. Connor returned the love by handing out vinyls and beanies (sorry, toques). My personal highlight? Finally hearing “Smoke” live! As a country-loving girl, I couldn’t resist the Connor Price x Walker Hayes collab. The show was full of fun moments, good vibes, and families making memories together. To all the parents accompanying their kids, you’re the real MVPs for turning this into a family outing. All in all, it was a great night full of energy, interaction, and love <3
