Another Day, Another Concert, this Saturday we got to see Dean Lewis in Zurich at The Hall. It was another fantastic concert experience, and I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend a saturday night than at a concert…

The sold-out venue was buzzing with excitement as fans eagerly awaited Dean Lewis’ performance. With a crowd that was predominantly young and female in the front rows, the energy was already high before the show even started. Towards the back, I spotted a few people my age too. Which honestly made me feel a bit better about being there 😀

The evening kicked off with Canadian singer Sofia Camara as the support act. She did a great job warming up the crowd. I also saw a few fans of her own in the audience. The cheered her on and sang along to all of her songs.

Then, a little after 8:30 PM, Dean Lewis took the stage, and the atmosphere instantly shifted into full-on concert mode. He was his usual adorable self, radiating stage presence and energy that filled every corner of the venue.

Dean Lewis Is Still Drawing in the Masses, More Than Ever

It’s not easy to maintain a connection with an audience in a large venue, but Dean knows exactly how to do it. He came down to the pit multiple times, shaking hands, singing directly at the barrier. At one point he even had a fan hold his mic so he could sing and play guitar down at the barrier. One of the most magical moments was when he walked through the crowd and performed half a song right in the middle of his fans. He also kept throwing out guitar picks and engaging with the audience in a way that made everyone feel seen and appreciated.

A Setlist to Remember and a Flourishing Career

The setlist was a perfect blend of old favorites and fresh material. He even including an unreleased song, I Hate That It’s True, which was apparently written just weeks ago. Of course, his biggest hits like Waves, Be Alright, and How Do I Say Goodbye had the entire crowd singing along. While his voice sounded a little off at some points – understandable after such a long time on the road – he still gave his all to make sure the audience had an unforgettable night. The little B-stage moment was another highlight, adding to the intimacy of the show.

All in all, it was another great performance by Dean Lewis. Every time I see him live, I leave feeling energized. But also just happy, happy for his die-hard fans, who receive so much love from him. Watching his career grow from playing at a small club like Papiersaal to now selling out The Hall is truly special – and I love that for him!
