Another day, another concert – this time it was The Dreggs in Zurich at one of my fave venues, Papiersaal. The Australian indie-folk duo is known for their heartfelt lyrics and breezy acoustic sound. They brought their signature energy and warmth to Switzerland. The venue’s intimate atmosphere was the perfect match for their style. Personal, authentic, and full of charm.
A Lovely Start with Etaoin
Opening the evening was Etaoin, a talented singer-songwriter from Ireland. Her set had a beautifully calm and emotional vibe. Just her voice and guitar, filling the room with a gentle warmth that drew everyone in. She was an absolutely lovely start to the night, and her chill energy set the tone perfectly.

The Dreggs Bring the Aussie Folk Vibes
Once The Dreggs hit the stage, the energy immediately lifted. Despite admitting they were incredibly jetlagged after flying in from California just a few days earlier, they delivered a fantastic set filled with positive vibes and a great energy. With their recently released album The Art of Uncommon Practice, fans were treated to both new songs and old favorites. I was especially thrilled to hear “Foolish Reasons”, the song that first made me fall in love with their music. All in all, it was a great night of feel-good acoustic folk. The Aussies really do know how to create the perfect vibey live show.
