Another day, another concert! On Sunday, country music fans in Zurich were in for a treat as Warren Zeiders took the stage at Kaufleuten. It had been a while since I attended a country music show, so I was especially excited for this one.

Clearly, I wasn’t the only one looking forward to it—the show was completely sold out, proving that country music has a growing and passionate fanbase in Switzerland.

Before Warren Zeiders took the stage, the audience was warmed up by support act Wesko. Despite apparently feeling a bit under the weather, he powered through his set and did his best to get the crowd going. He even threw in a Luke Combs song and a Coldplay cover, which were both well received. His effort to engage with the audience paid off, and by the time the clock struck 9 PM, the crowd was ready for the main act.

Warren Zeiders Delivers a High-Energy Performance

Right on time, Warren Zeiders hit the stage, immediately bringing a wave of energy that had the crowd ecstatic. Dressed all in black, with a sharp cowboy hat and sunglasses, he kicked off his set with confidence. The stage setup was minimal, with a simple backdrop displaying his name in bold letters, allowing the focus to remain on the music and performance.

The atmosphere at Kaufleuten was fantastic, with an audience that stayed engaged and energetic throughout the night. Many fans sang along to every song, truly feeling the music. While I’m sure most were there for the music, there’s no denying that Warren knows exactly how his looks affect his audience. His infectious smile and effortless charisma added an extra layer of excitement to the performance. That being said, his band also deserves credit for delivering a fantastic live sound, making sure that every song hit just right.

Unforgettable Moments and a Surprising Encore

Zeiders treated the audience to a mix of hits, including favorites like “Intoxicated” and “Heartbreaker.” Personally, I was most excited to hear “You for a Reason,” especially since he just released a music video for it. And, of course, being on the “Relapse Tour,” he couldn’t leave out “Relapse.” A particularly heartfelt moment came before “Pretty Little Poison,” when he asked the audience to help him out, as the song remains emotionally challenging for him to perform night after night. The Swiss crowd did not disappoint—surprisingly loud and enthusiastic, proving that the country music scene here is alive and well.

Then came the encore—a moment that was both unexpected and, let’s say, memorable. Warren Zeiders returned to the stage shirtless, revealing his abs and sending the audience into a frenzy. Like I mentioned earlier, he knows exactly what he’s doing! Beyond the showmanship, what stood out to me was how the country music community in Switzerland is evolving. The crowd was more diverse than I had seen at country shows five years ago, with a lot of younger fans in their early twenties, which was refreshing to see.

All in all, it was a solid and entertaining concert with an amazing atmosphere. I love seeing country music grow in Switzerland, especially with newer artists like Warren Zeiders making an impact. I can’t wait for the next country shows coming up!
