Concert Pictures: Drake Milligan @ Mascotte, Zurich

Another day another concert – this time it was Drake Milligan at Mascotte in Zurich. It was another night filled with country music tunes, and good vibes. This was his first time performing in Switzerland and hopefully not the last time.

Drake Milligan, a young and vibrant country artist, has been making waves in the music industry. His soulful voice and captivating performances are a thing to remember. He rose to fame through his appearances on television shows like “Sun Records,” or his participation on AGT & American Idol. Drake Milligan has won over a pretty dedicated fan base over the years.

The support act this evening was Swiss country singer Florian Fox. He did his job and warmed up the crowd with his own brand of country tunes. I’ve recently seen him perform at Gstaad Country Night last year. Here are a few shots I got during Florian’s set.

A Night of Country Vibes in Zurich

As Drake Milligan made his debut in Switzerland, the anticipation was palpable at Mascotte in Zurich. The venue, filled with around 250 enthusiastic country music lovers, buzzed with excitement as fans showed off their cowboy boots and hats, ready for a night of pure country music.

And I think Drake Milligan knocked it out of the park. The audience erupted into cheers the moment he took the stage. Despite the diverse age range of attendees, Milligan’s performance seemed to resonate deeply with everyone.

A Memorable Evening with Drake Milligan

Milligan’s energetic performance and engaging stage presence kept the crowd entertained throughout the night. His setlist, a blend of original tracks and crowd-pleasing covers, ensured that there was something for everyone. Even unexpected requests like “Cowgirl for Christmas” were met with enthusiasm. And he actually played the song – which I was very happy about as it is one of my favorites!

As the concert came to a close, the crowd refused to let go of the magic in the air, chanting for an encore long after the lights had come on. Drake returned to the stage for not just one, but several more songs, even though the venue was already making sure people were led away from the stage to ensure a quick load-in after the show. Once the show ended (for real this time) Drake pretty much jumped off the stage and went over to the merch table (that didn’t really have any merch – booooo), to spend more time meeting fans, signing autographs, and posing for photos, leaving a lasting impression of warmth and gratitude for sure.
