Another day, another concert. This time it was Ca7riel y Paco Amoroso at Baloise Session. The dynamic Argentinian duo known for their explosive mix of trap, funk, rock, and electronic sounds, took over the Baloise Session stage this week as part of the night themed “Fusion of the Future.” And fusion it was, to say the least!
The same evening, the second act was none other than Jon Batiste – a combination I initially thought would be the weirdest mix ever. I honestly couldn’t picture how those two acts would fit together. Spoiler alert: they really didn’t fit… BUT the night couldn’t have been more fun, tbh!
Mind-Blown by Energy and Immaculate Vibes
The two Argentinian boys put on such a great show that I was absolutely mind-blown all night. It was hands down the most entertaining performance I’ve ever seen at a Baloise Session. The vibes were immaculate and we got pure energy from start to finish. While I first thought the audience who came for Jon Batiste might either die of a heart attack or be shocked beyond measure, I was pleasantly surprised. Even some of the older folks (who were probably there for Jon, let’s be honest) were loving it. A cute older lady in front of my seat was waving her arms around and even got up a couple of times to dance. I absolutely oved her vibe!
The Hype Is Real and Music Knows No Borders
I have to admit, I didn’t know much about Ca7riel y Paco Amoroso before the show. But after seeing them live, I totally get the hype — it’s absolutely legit. Their set was so fun, fresh, and full of surprises that I decided they deserved their own post. This instead of just a mention in my Jon Batiste review.
Did I understand much of what they were singing? Nope, just a few words here and there. But honestly, that just proves once again that music knows no borders. So, without further ado, here are my photos from one of the most unexpectedly awesome nights at Baloise Session!
