Another day another concert… This time we got to see Picture This in Zurich. The Irish pop-rock band took the stage at Komplex 457 in Zurich this past weekend. After having hits like “Take My Hand” and “One Drink,” the band has gained a loyal following. I am very grateful to have seen them back in 2017. Then they were supporting JP Cooper and I have loved their music ever since.
Glad I had the chance to photograph them once again, following their co-headlining tour with Tom Gregory last year. Although the venue wasn’t quite sold out, the fans who showed up made up for the ones missing. Their enthusiasm and loud voices created an intimate yet energetic atmosphere.
Before getting to enjoy Picture This, the evening got kicked off by singer-songwriter Tim Gallagher. His acoustic performance was a fitting warm-up for the main act, showcasing his talent in connecting with the audience. Loved his voice and the vibe he brought.

Picture This Takes the Stage in Zurich
When Picture This hit the stage, the atmosphere shifted to excitement as lead singer Ryan Hennessy and the band brought their incredible energy. Also, the stage setup was quite cool and creative. While the drummer was placed on top of a car, that said car was tagged by each band member throughout the show. Starting the show with a huge “ZURICH <3” tag. A sparkly tree added an almost romantic vibe to the stage. The space in the venue allowed fans to move and dance, with the predominantly female audience singing along to every word. Despite not being a regular listener, I found myself recognizing more songs than expected, adding to the joy of the night.

A Setlist Full of Highs and Heartfelt Moments
As always, Ryan’s charismatic energy was contagious, and the setlist was a great blend of high-energy hits and slower, more emotional tracks. Personal highlights for me included “Song To Myself,” which still hits a little to hard at times with the lyrics. But I quite enjoyed the entire set and loved hearing songs such as “Natural Disaster” and “Addicted To You.”
All in all, it was yet another fantastic performance by Picture This, and I’ll definitely be back the next time they roll through town.
