Highlights: Zurich Openair 2024 Weekend 2

Another day, another festival! Zurich Openair has wrapped up and pretty much ended the outdoor festival season in Switzerland. I’m super glad I once again got the opportunity to shoot some photos at this years ZOA. Here’s my little recap of weekend 2

Following a great first weekend, Weekend 2 continued to deliver with a fantastic lineup featuring artists like Nickless, Kenya Grace, Tom Grennan, James Arthur, Jorja Smith, Marc Rebillet, Aurora, Anne-Marie, Trettmann, Sido, Kygo, and many more. While I didn’t capture photos of all the acts (sadly, James Arthur didn’t allow any photographers and Sugababes did not approve any sent in photos), I still got a few nice shots throughout the weekend.

The festival grounds maintained their unique charm from Weekend 1, with a nice setup, many food options, and an atmosphere that felt both intimate and grand. Each performance offered something unique, from Marc Rebillet’s very weird but impressive show (in underwear!) to Aurora’s ethereal vocals and Sido’s iconic rap anthems. The closing set by Kygo was the perfect finale, leaving everyone in high spirits.
