Another night, another concert, this time it was I Prevail in Zurich, and things got loud pretty quickly. I Prevail have become one of the biggest names in modern metalcore. My metal friends told me they’ve got some heavy riffs, powerful breakdowns, some melodic choruses and even electronic elements.

The venue wasn’t completely sold out, but it was nicely filled, with a surprisingly young crowd. Given that I Prevail have been around since 2013, I expected to see a few more people my age or older. Apparently, the next generation of metalcore fans is doing just fine!

Gore and Polaris Get the Crowd Going

The night kicked off with Gore as the first support act, followed by Polaris, whom I’d previously seen at X-TRA supporting A Day to Remember. And as the night went on, things only got wilder. The mosh pits grew bigger, crowdsurfers kept coming, and the energy in the room continued to build.

Pyro, Mosh Pits and Metalcore Mayhem

When I Prevail finally hit the stage, they opened with plenty of pyro, setting the tone for what was about to come. More fire, more pits, more crowdsurfers. Basically, everything you’d hope for at an I Prevail show. Sadly, I couldn’t stay for the entire set because a migraine decided to join me while I was shooting. And apparently, the band even played their cover of Taylor Swift’s Blank Space. I still can’t believe I missed that one!

But hey, I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves.
