Another day, another concert. After chill Oz vibes with Vance Joy, we got our socks rocked off by the Italian rocker band and Eurovision Song Contest winner Måneskin. Like many others too, I would say it was well worth the wait…

From start to finish, the energy in the room was off the charts. Hallenstadion was completely sold out, and pretty much every person in the audience was on their feet. Dancing and screaming along to Måneskin‘s songs.

I personally do enjoy the occasional support act. I’ve been lucky enough to actually discover one of my all-time favorite artists (Joshua Radin) while supporting another musician. Also, I have to admit, it was nice to not have to wait too long for the main act. To be fair, Måneskin really didn’t need a support act. They had more than enough energy to pump up the crowd all on their own.

The more Damiano moves – the more the crowd screams

The band’s frontman, Damiano, was an absolute showstopper. His moves and charismatic stage presence had the mainly female crowd in a frenzy, and every time he struck a pose, the screams just got louder. But it wasn’t just Damiano – every member of the band brought their A-game, and their passion for music was palpable. Kekoaskorner said it in one of her IG stories – I think it really fits well:

“How sexy do you want to be? Måneskin: yes!”

A lot of fans went all out with their concert attire. Many dressed up to match the band’s iconic style. There were signs and posters galore, adding to the already electric atmosphere. The setlist was a nice mix of their older and newer songs. The band played for an impressive two hours. From the first note to the final encore, Måneskin had the audience in the palm of their hand. Even the fanciest of VIP lounge concertgoers couldn’t resist the urge to get up and dance along.

2 hours of Måneskin Power

I was excited to see what a full-on headline show would look like. I’ve been lucky enough to have seen Måneskin perform on one of the smaller stages at Coachella in 2022. It was a one-hour long set and was basically packed with all of their hits only – which was nice. But I have to admit, the 2hr full set was more diverse and their stage presence did show a little more.

It was a night of pure rock and roll magic, with an inclusive and welcoming vibe. It felt like everyone was part of the family. From the youngest kids in the crowd to the diehard fans who have been queueing for hours to get to the front row. We all really got our money’s worth, as Maneskin sure knows how to put on a show.

Seeing Måneskin Live is an Experience

If you have the chance to see Måneskin live, don’t hesitate and get yourself a ticket – it’s an experience you won’t forget anytime soon. I know some might not like them too much, especially due to their, let’s say somewhat “special” outfits… Yes, I wasn’t too big of a fan at first either, but they have a way of reeling you in with their presence and their ability to put on a show was insane. Of course, it helps, that the audience (which was for sure a majority of Italians), really knew how to party and their songs are just super catchy!
