Jason Derulo in Zurich

Another day, another concert, this time it’s Jason Derulo in Zurich at Hallenstadion. The singer, songwriter, and entertainer has been dominating charts and dance floors for well over a decade with a long list of global hits.

Having already had the chance to photograph Jason back in 2024, I more or less knew what kind of spectacle to expect. Still, when the lights dropped in the arena, that familiar buzz of anticipation rolled through the crowd like electricity.

Kicking off the night at the Hallenstadion was the energetic UK group LZ7. They warmed up the crowd with infectious beats. The venue was still only filling up slowly at that point, but the energy was slowly being raised.

Huge Production, Pyro, and Non-Stop Entertainment

Jason Derulo concerts are built like pop playgrounds, and this one delivered exactly that. The show came packed with massive production, blazing pyro, perfectly timed visuals. But also a group of incredible dancers who kept the energy racing from the first beat to the final bow. Flames burst, choreography snapped into place, and hit after hit kept the arena bouncing. It was the kind of show where every moment feels engineered for pure entertainment, and the crowd happily signed up for the ride. 🔥💃

A Setlist Full of Bangers (and a Sea of Light)

The setlist was stacked with songs we have all heard countless times on the radio, playlists, and dance floors. Every few minutes another recognizable chorus rolled in, and thousands of voices instantly joined. Super cool was also everytime the arena lit up with the distributed light bracelets. The entire crowd became part of the show, flickering and glowing across the massive space of Hallenstadion. Just like a constellation of tiny stage lights. ✨🎶

A Young Crowd… With Some OG Fans Too

Just like the last time I saw Jason perform, the audience skewed surprisingly young. Probably thanks to his huge success on TikTok where many of his songs have taken on a second life. Still, there were plenty of OG fans in the house too. Looking up into the seated sections, I spotted more people around my own age enjoying the show and singing along to the classics. In the end, it was another great night filled with fun music, big moments, and a reminder that Jason Derulo still knows exactly how to put on a great show. 🎉🎵
