Another day another concert, this time Electric Callboy in Zurich at Hallenstadion, The German metalcore-meets-partycore sensation brought their unmistakable chaos and charm, now with a fresh twist: their new drummer, Frank Zummo, behind the kit. His addition adds an exciting new dynamic to the band, and fans were eager to see how the revamped lineup would come together on stage.

Before Electric Callboy even stepped foot on stage, the crowd was treated to not one but two support acts. First up was Wargasm, the explosive London duo known for their blend of electro-punk and metal.

Bury Tomorrow Bring the Heat

Next came one of the night’s personal highlights: Bury Tomorrow. The British metalcore band is known for their emotional heaviness and melodic hooks, and I was especially excited to finally see them live. Mostly because a good friend is a massive fan and insisted I “needed to understand the hype.” And honestly? I get it now. Their energy was unreal, the crowds enjoyed it too, and I even found myself a little too close to a mosh pit… Plus, fun fact: I’m no longer a crowdsurfing virgin. A+ life moment.

Electric Callboy in Zurich: Mind-Blowing Show

Then it was finally time for Electric Callboy. They opened with an explosive burst of pyro, lights, and special effects that immediately set the tone for the rest of the show. From a visual standpoint, it was absolutely mind-blowing. Musically, too — at least for me. I didn’t quite know what to expect, but what I got was a whirlwind of screaming vocals, lightning-fast beats, and a surprising sprinkle of Schlager and Euro-dance vibes. Add in their iconic stage outfits (truly chef’s kiss) and you’ve got a full sensory experience.

A Crowd That Matches the Chaos

Another highlight? The crowd — easily one of the most entertaining I’ve seen in a while. Fans went all in with their outfits: neon track suits, wild wigs, retro looks everywhere you turned. I couldn’t have counted them even if I tried. All in all, it was a fantastic night filled with unique music, unforgettable moments, and great times with friends.
