Another day, another concert – Jasmine.4.T at Winterthurer Musikfestwochen but this time there’s a little twist. I got to actually follow Jasmine and her band around a bit and capture some behind-the-scenes shots.
I had the pleasure of being back at Winterthurer Musikfestwochen as part of the photo team again. This annual festival turns the heart of Winterthur into a vibrant hub of live music, culture, and community spirit. Spread over multiple days and stages, it features a mix of international acts, local gems, and up-and-coming artists. All shows, except for the last 3 nights are completely free!
One of my personal highlights was seeing MRCY perform an incredible set on Sunday. It absolutely lit up the crowd with incredible vibes. The very next day turned out to be just as special for a whole different reason.
Behind the Scenes with Jasmine.4.T
On Monday, I was trusted with something truly exciting. I got the chance to accompany an artist playing the mainstage. The artist was Jasmine.4.T. Getting the chance to shadow her and her team before and after the performance was such a cool experience. From soundcheck to backstage chats and post-show moments, I had a rare glimpse into the life of an artist beyond the spotlight. Being able to capture some of those candid, behind-the-scenes moments was a real honor. I can only hope I did them justice.
The Reality of Backstage Life and a Big Thank You
As many artists have said before, the hours before and after a gig aren’t always about wild parties and glamor. Though, let’s be honest, sometimes they probably are! More often, it’s a mix of waiting, preparing, and simply hanging around. What stood out to me was how close Jasmine and her team seemed. Sharing laughs, encouragement that made the waiting feel more like time spent with friends.
A huge thank you to Jasmine and her entire crew for trusting me to document their day. And of course thanks to Winterthurer Musikfestwochen for making this possible.
