Remember when Marc Broussard played in Rapperswil last year? That was my first time at the blues’n’jazz festival. This year the line-up of the festival is pretty cool too. If you feel like going to a cool festival with great atmosphere and amazing music, keep reading.

Like I said, last year was my first time at blues’n’jazz… I can certainly say it wasn’t my last time. Even though I only went to see Marc Broussard (who of course was absolutely amazing – as always), I really enjoyed my day in Rapperswil and discovered great new music

The atmosphere and ambience is very easy-going and chill. It’s almost like a mini-Zürifäscht, but without the thousands of people. There’s great new music waiting for you at every corner, but also delicious food :). The festival was rearranged a bit last year, but people really seemed to like it. So there was no reason to change anything this year, so they’re still going for the typical “lakeside-festival” with three stages at the Fischmarktplatz, Curtiplatz and the Kapuzinerzipfel.

With Joss Stone the festival definitely brought a big name to this years line-up. But that’s not all, here’s a little overview of our favorite artists this year:

Thursday 23.06.
Nicole Bernegger, Joss Stone

Friday 24.06.
Shayna Steele, Charlie Chunningham, Robert Randolph & The Family Band

Saturday 25.06.
Damian Lynn, Patent Ochsner, Kim Churchill

Sunday 26.06.
Guy Davis & Fabrizio Poggi, Baskery
