The next concert highlight is just around the corner: Jack Savoretti at Volkshaus, Zurich. If you’ve been following us for a while, you might have already heard of Jack and maybe even read a couple of our posts about him. The singer who actually spent most of his youth in Switzerland has totally won me over… His voice is just… Wow!

Last year I had the honor of interviewing this amazing singer with that incredibly raspy and wonderful voice. His humble and sincere way of interacting with people (including myself) was just one more thing that made me love him even more. You can go check out the interview here: Interview with Jack Savoretti.

This guy has such an incredible and special voice. Super raspy but at the same time he can sound smooth and soft too. He’s got it all it seems like. Imagine a mixture of Paolo Nutini and James Morrison. Oh and whatever sounds great on the CD, sounds even better live, believe me! The energy that Jack sets free up on stage immediately resonates with the crowd – who always love him (even if they don’t know him ;-)). Jacks’ band is pretty amazing too, they sound so good together. Jack Savoretti and his band put smiles on everyone’s faces and gives everyone goosebumps. I am especially looking forward to the songs of the new album “Singing to Strangers” as they are a bit different compared to his earlier works.

All Details about the Jack Savoretti Concert

The support act is definitely reason enough to come early: Ward Thomas country pop duo from England. I’ve actually just recently seen them at a spontaneous performance at this years C2C Festival. During the CMA Songwriters Series the sisters (they actually are twins!) were surprised with the CMA Jeff Walker Global Country Artist Award. They then decided to just quickly perform their song “Cartwheels” – what a treat! These girls sound amazing and have incredible harmonies. So please make sure to come early and enjoy their music.

Here’s a little sneak peek of what to expect from Jack. His song “Catapult” perfectly shows how versatile he is. So soft and smooth, but his raspy voice comes out of nowhere. Damn! Goosebumps again, just while writing this…
