From Zermatt to Zurich – Zermatt Unplugged at Kaufleuten
Wow, now this is pretty cool! The Zermatt Unplugged concert series is coming to Zurich. Lovers of acoustic music/showcases will definitely be getting their moneys worth during October 22nd – 24th.
I have to admit, I’ve never been tot he festival in Zermatt, however I do know that it must be one of the coolest there is. There’s an incredible atmosphere that you can’t find anywhere else. The line-ups definitely are special too. Not only the big names and known artists find their way to Zermatt, also younger or less known musicians (for sure not less talented though) get a chance to play there.
These were some of the artists that have played the Zermatt Unplugged (just to name a few): Seal, Lionel Richie, David Gray or Billy Idol but also these guys (super talented but totally underrates unfortunatly) Ron Pope, Jonathan Jeremiah, Brett Dennen or even Lo & Leduc have stood on that stage. Not bad, not bad…
The well known venue Kaufleuten in Zurich will be hosting this kind of a special edition. It will be the home of many great acts in October. These 3 are my personal highlights:
Band of Horses
You’ll find the entire line-up on the Zermatt Unplugged Kaufleuten website. Once you go there, you’ll know what I haven’t written down the entire list, it’s way too long 🙂
Tickets are on sale through Starticket – don’t wait too long, you never know how fast shows can sell out…
