Apple Music Festival in London
For years the Apple Music Festival has been on my concert bucketlist. Apple has been the host/organizer of the London iTunes Festival, which after the launch of Apple Music has been renamed to Apple Music Festival.
Have any of our readers been to the festival before?
I’ve always entered the contests to win tickets but unfortunately I was never lucky…. The chances to go to one of these shows are getting slimmer every year. Looks like now only british residents are allowed to enter the contests.
Too bad… But like so many other music-lovers I’ll just follow the festival via Apple Music. It is pretty cool to be able to stream those shows live and for free to our homes. This year we’ll also get some cool backstage footage through Beats 1 and Apple Music Connect.
Previously the former iTunes Festival had shows on all days of September. As a concert fan I am a bit dissapointed that the festival has been slimmed down a little bit. During a period of 10 nights (September 19th – 28th) the shows will take place at the London Roundhouse. Big names will be heading to London this year. The complete line-up came out last week and I have to say, I wouldn’t mind being at a couple shows this year:
